I have been on a huge Yung Lean binge recently. I have nonstop been listening to Oreomilkshake, Hoover, Afghanistan, and many other tracks by him. I have also been enjoying Thaiboy Digital and his music as well. I have in general been trying to get into cloud rap.

Yung Lean it seems is appearing on the "Blue Summer" project by a producer/dj/artist from Sweden named Woesum. Lean appears on this album with the track "Summer Rain". Woesum is an associate of Sad Boys and Drain Gang. The producer of this track is Ludwig Ljung.

The music video is a gothic, vampire themed video. What people should realize about the vampire aesthetic in rap is that Spaceghostpurpp, Yung Lean, and Bladee have been doing this for a while. Playboi Carti does not deserve any credit for this.

The percussion has a shitty 808 but the melody is good enough to make up for it. The percussion is not my favorite but Yung Leans vocals are good enough for it. The lyrics are about denying another persons ability to be as demonic and wild as Lean can be.

Overall this is a 9.2/10 and will go down as a sad boy summer anthem.
